That’s the thing about public forums. You get lots of opinions proffered. It’s probably best to ignore the ones you don’t want to hear, rather than arguing.

No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

As with most people they don't want advice just to be told that they are right.

Just go and order some Iceland fishfingers and chicken nuggets and stop whining. There's 40 thousand people dead from this virus, millions unemployed and hundreds if not thousands of long established businesses that gone to the wall and you expect anybody to care less that you can't get your Waitrose balsamic vinegar for a few months.

I understand your frustration, but in case you haven’t noticed, the country is going through an emergency such as we haven’t seen in over seventy years, and systems everywhere are creaking at the seams or breaking. It’s unfortunate that Ocado have slipped up, but it happens. You don’t have to have Waitrose food, any supermarket will do, so rather than making everyone’s life just that little bit harder when everyone is trying their best, use one of the other delivery services, or ask a neighbour or a friend to do some shopping for you.
Really, none of that ever occurred to us. We've actually been eating chunks of old cardboard. 🙄
    Good tip.
I think Ocado are probably just fed up of you, rather than it being discrimination.

If you come over even 1% as badly as you do on here, I’m not surprised they won’t help you.

Take a good, long hard stare in the mirror and work on your attitude.

An update for all you incredibly tolerant and frightfully nice Ocado customers : https://www.disabilitynewsservice.com/coronavirus-supermarkets-face-biggest-class-action-of-its-kind-over-discrimination-claims/
In denying me a service (as a Disabled person) Ocado have breached the Equality Act 2010 and they have, therefore, broken the law. I have instructed Chris Fry (see article) and also spoken to Disability Rights UK. ITV News may well be covering this story (I've already spoken to their reporter). This may be of great interest to those who have had similar struggles although I'm sure it will infuriate most people who commented on this thread.
We have just placed our first two Ocado orders as Ocado miraculously found a place for us.
So, good result all round. Sorry if you think we should have just let it go. Please feel free to express your outrage to Ocado or maybe your MP who may have voted on the Equality Act 2010.
Thank you all ...... it's been fun.

Probably not a stalker.  Sometimes regular posters just see a pattern of similar threads arising from the same OP and feel it is appropriate to bring that all together.

I've posted about 4 issues in 10 years! Anyway, I'm sure Welsh Chris is at home here!

The inherent danger is that when you really need help and sympathy there'll be none forthcoming. The written word has an unfortunate habit of rebounding back from where it originated.

I'm a bit lost, trying to reconcile what's in the article and what you claim above. Clearly, merely not wanting you as a customer because you don't spend enough is NOT actionable under the Equality Act, and the article you quoted doesn't say it is.

If Chris Fry has taken you on as a client, perhaps he has seen some aspect of your case that is worth pursuing.  More likely is that he's just added you to the list of claimants.

And, I'm delighted that you have now managed to place two Ocado orders. Welcome to the club!
