Bensons for Bed Deliveries

Hi,
I purchased beds from Benson for beds on March 15 before the UK went into lockdown. The Beds were due to be delivered on April 1st. Then Covid19 hit.
I was disheartened as it meant I wouldn't be able to move into a new house, but fully understood it was to protect their staff.
However in the last 2 weeks I've discovered they have once again restarted taking online orders and deliveries. When I contacted them (via twitter), I was told they had restarted limited deliveries, and couldn't give me info on my order as some of their suppliers and distribution centres are still closed.
Their cancellation policy would cost me 20%, approximately £300. I find it extremely frustrating in that they are back taking orders and deliveries, without providing details to existing consumers. And in addition I am adversely impacted, since without the new beds I'm not able to move into the new property, so I end up paying rent and a Mortgage.
What I want to know is would this be considered a breach of contract? I entered into an agreement with them for delivery on a specific date. Due to extenuating circumstances that delivery got postponed, however as they are once again operating, is the onus on them to provide updated delivery information?

I think it's barely believable you're trying to claim the can't move house because a bed hasn't been delivered.2

Presumably he has nothing to sleep on.1

I think the fact that the bed has to come from the supplier and not all suppliers are are open yet, is a fairly reasonable excuse in the circumstances.
Why not buy a cheap inflatable mattress for now0 -
I've just had to refuse a delivery from Bensons for Beds as they would not deliver it my bedroom nor assemble the Divan bed which cost nearly £1800 despite having paid extra for that service. Like DCME, we ordered the bed before lockdown and the original delivery time was 3 weeks. Last week we received a text saying our bed would be delivered on 20th May and we would receive a call 48 hrs prior to this to discuss social distancing. We didn't receive any call to discuss such until 6.59 am on the day of delivery. When the driver arrived, he told us I would have to assemble the bed and while he was prepared to deliver it to my door he wouldn't take it upstairs. I am a 63 year old man with hemiplegia after breaking my neck so refused to take delivery. I was afraid if I damaged the bed moving it upstairs or assembling it, I would have no recourse to replacement. Unfortunately, because there was no indication of this in the text messages I received, I have dismantled my old bed and have nowhere to sleep now but the sofa or floor! Would it be unreasonable if I cancelled and organised something else? Are they in breach of contract and does section 75 apply as I bought on credit card?0

Fairly standard at present delivery to door only for many companies .
