If you use online banking you just go into the PCs settings and increase the font size then you can input all login details and read the account.
I don't know the full details of my friend's sight loss, but I don't think it's quite as simple as that. Looking at the TSB online banking site, there are a number of boxes with very similar wording / display settings, and some of them are clickable while others are not. My friend is also more of an I-pad user than a pc user. Fortunately there's a competent adult child at home who can help to a certain extent, but they'd like their banking independence back!

    Still knitting!
Completed: TWO adult cardigans, 3 baby jumpers, 3 shawls, 1 sweat band, 3 pairs baby bootees, 2 sets of handwarmers, 1 Wise Man Knitivity figure + 1 sheep, 2 pairs socks, 3 balaclavas, multiple hats and poppies, 3 peony flowers, 4 butterflies ...
Current projects: pink balaclava (for myself), seaman's hat, about to start another cardigan!
