Hi my bank would not help as tui have offered an alternative route " refund credit" .....Streaky_Bacon said:Contact your card provider and ask them to initiate a chargeback. Tell them that TUI agreed to one, but have not processed it and are uncontactable. If you have anything in writing provide that too.Even if you do get through to them, they are only going to confirm that they agreed to a payment and that you will receive it within x days. If you do call back and get through, make sure you record the call if you can.0 -
Make a complaint to your bank stating you have rejected the voucher as under English law you are able to do, as a voucher in NOT a replacement for cash, and you formally raise a complaint as your refusal has no bases under English Law.dharris17 said:

I also have been on phone for 3 Days trying to get refund Yesterday on hold for 1hr 30min then to be told office office closed.
I think with the weeks that this has been going on TUI could have set up a Email system to claim refunds .which would also take pressure of the phone for those who want to rebook. And as for the message call back latter we will be happy to help . I wish !!1 -
I have made over 1700+ phon calls, 900+ were actual answered to be told after making the selection. "Sorry our lines are currently busy, please try later". Im pretty sure everyone of those were chargeable, I'll see when my bill comes in. I did get through on hold 7 times and each time was hung up on. Out around 30minutes, the longest was 1.28. I have been on twice past the 7pm line closer but told to "stay on, we'll answer your call as quickly as possible". The longest of them 52 minutes after 7pm before cut off. I have evidence of all of the calls, I have voice recordings of been on hold and BEING CUT OFF!!fiestasalad said:I also have been on phone for 3 Days trying to get refund Yesterday on hold for 1hr 30min then to be told office office closed.

And as for the message call back latter we will be happy to help . I wish !!I think its pretty obvious you are not going to get paid by ringing up for a refund!!! After trying over 1700+ times then you've just to say, "this isn't happening!!". I am really dubious about people stating that they got through and spoke to a lovely girl from Wales.... I have seen the same message on numerous boards like this and on social media. Seriously, I think your being paid by TUI to do this!!! The messages are too similar!!I have had some very good advice from one person on here who PM'd me. Although I have not been successful in any of the attempts I am still trying. I joined Twitter, not having a single response but, will keep trying. I have tried to get a chargeback through my bank... The lines are nearly as bad as TUI and didn't get through, so are going to go into the bank when I can find time around working. Ive found email addresses for CEO's and MD's of TUI. I have sent numerous emails... No replies as yet. I will keep sending daily, although the emails have probably been changed. I may try a to make a small court clam. This is chargeable between £25 - £455. I don't mind losing some to get most of my money back. Sill not a proper chance to look at this yet.
If anyone finds a direct way and was due to fly late April early May, (as earlier bookings were pretty much deal with, its now the impossibility has happened). Can you please PM me with how you did it as its just getting unbearable.
Thanks

I have been paid by TUI to come on here and say I have got through? That is the most ridiculous thing I have read on here this week.0

Thanks to all fellow supporters of Tui Frustrations! Well since my last POST on Forum, like so many of you...... I persevered calling time and again. The 0203. Number and the O800 0093 I got thru on the 0203 ... cut off! Got thru again another ‘overseas’ agent a name I can’t pronounce. Who said the refund I was promised in 14/21 days not sure why not processed but maybe volume of refunds.? He couldn’t help as this was Customer Service! Please ring 0800 0093 .. I said I have, it just says callback later. Please Try again ... I did 2 mins later. The number HE GAVE ME .... Answerphone says....Welcome Tui this number is NO LONGER functional!!!!
YESTERDAY an e mail ( standard to all) from Tui MD who says SORRY. ..... hats off an apology admits ‘not all right’. But no answers except call the 0203 number aaagh!!!! So yes bank c/c next port of call. However it is not right Banks bailing out the Airlines wrong doings! Sympathy I have unprecedented times BUT. NOT RIGHT!!!!!
Thanks to you all for support and Martin Lewis for advice and highlighting issues👍0 -
Isnt there an online form now?0

Yes, there is an online form - but only if you've already received your refund credit code.bradders1983 said:Isnt there an online form now?
No idea what stage liquericeleglucy is at - too many shouty capital letters, punctuation marks and exclamation marks for me.
Oh - and the banks will reclaim the money from TUI so not exactly bailing out.
