UC confusion

Hi all,
As title states I'm confused about UC.
As with a lot of people I have singed up to UC as I ended up with no job and no help from previous employer to take me back to furlough me.
Just received what I can get from UC and its £117 a month , my partner (full time work) lives with me but owns her own house (joint ownership with her mum who is unable to work due to medical reasons) and pays those bills so is not able to give much at all towards living with myself (not an issue as before I lost my job I could support myself fully).
So is the £117 a month what I'm going to receive each month?
Was it right to put us down as a couple (we are not married)
Its unfair to put her finances under strain to support both us and her mum, not sure what to do.
Help would be very much apricated
Many Thanks

If you live with your partner then you claim as a couple. Your partners earnings will reduce the amount of UC you're entitled to by 63% if you don't have a work allowance.Do you live in the house that you own?0

You live as a couple and earnings reduce your maximum entitlement. Use a benefits calculator. https://www.entitledto.co.uk/If you've paid enough NI contributions from working in tax years April 2017 to March 2019 then you'll be better off claiming New style JSA. For over 25s it pays £74.35 per week for 26 weeks. It's not means tested so your partners earning will not affect the amount you're entitled to. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/new-style-jobseekers-allowanceI'm not sure why you don't think it's right for your partner to support you. Whether you're married or not, you're still a couple living together.
