However you look at it, the SEISS and CJRS schemes are both absurdly generous, even for those caught by some of the possible flaws in the schemes. Also remember that under SEISS, it is still permitted to continue working.3

That is true unless you're one of the thousands that fell through the cracks and was employed after March 1st for the CJRS in which case every post about how the 80% may not be enough is a kick in the teeth. Any that aren't eligible for the schemes would of gladly accepted 50% or less no doubt as thats better then a big fat 0!
