It is evident from the above posts from both TheInsideGuy and Thrugelmir that they act for OneCall, assisting OneCall to evade their legal responsibilities and avoid rectification for their poor levels of conduct and service. Be cautious when dealing with this organisation people.0

Do not understand why you guys put considerable time and effort into trying to help posters, who will not listen as they are getting replies / advice they do not want to hear.
And end up eventually biting the hand that is trying to help them. But good on you all to try!
I can see this thread going the usual way these days when a certain type of new poster, posts a statement or question, but then does not like the replies.
1st: Not listening to or arguing with others trying to be helpful. As its not a reply they agree with or want.
2nd: Start accusing all who do not agree with Op, of working for the same company against them.
Op has only to look at the other posters Profiles, to ascertain what has been posted previously by them.
Sometimes over many years to see how ludicrous and embarrassing a statement like this would be.
3rd: Throwing the toys out of the pram. Accusing abusive, etc?
4th: Op then looks in detail at what they posted, gets embarrassed and then deletes all.
Apart from the usual, one last eventual post where all others were wrong and they were right all along, by getting all money back plus thousands in compo?
5th: Op is never heard from again.
Perhaps if I can suggest Op? This forum is not perhaps for you, as people are allowed opinions and to give advice that you obviously do not agree with. There are other help forums out there, where you might find others more ready to agree with everything you state / say and give you the advice that you want.
And no Op. I do not work for or act for onecall.

Heads up people if you are having trouble emailing OneCall to cancel your policy or just to communicate by email, here's the email address for their data protection department, they will forward all letters and correspondence to the complaints department and or to their debt recovery department: DPO@onecalldirect.co.uk. From experience and looking at their Web Home Page, up till now they go to great pains to prevent you from communicating by email to address complaints or cancellations.0

I suggest people stop posting on this thread as the useful information given is being disregarded and false accusations are being made. Clearly the OP only wants to hear what supports his point of view and everyone who disagrees works for One Call.

People take note of those persons that denounce and belittle justifiable complaints against companies that provide a poor service, companies that have questionable modes of professional conduct, companies that are shy to provide an email address to their complaints department, companies that take money from your bank account without legal authority, those persons that defend those companies need to be highlighted and noted, this forum should be for those with genuine complaints and to inform others of their concerns to help others not endure the problems faced by genuine and honest people purchasing goods and services from companies they had put their trust in. Then perhaps those companies will improve their modus operandi, Best wishes to all genuine consumers. Take Care BFN.0
