Loveholidays payment and cancellation question

Hi.

So I have 2 holidays booked with Loveholidays. I know that neither of these trips will be going ahead because of the virus but Loveholidays are only cancelling trips on a 2 weekly rolling basis. One on 15th June and one on 30th June. I have paid the full amount of £1300 for the trip on the 30th and so will have to wait months for this to be refunded if it ever does actually get refunded as from what I’ve been reading online they aren’t refunding anyone. Anyway for the trip on the 15th I have only paid the £200 initial payment with a further £1000 to pay before the 10th June. My question is would I be better off just not paying the next instalment which will effectively cancel the holiday or would they still be legally allowed to hunt me down for the remaining balance? I don’t mind taking a £200 hit but I can’t really afford to be paying them £1000 only for them to take months to refund this. Plus it’s going to be a huge hassle to actually contact them and try to obtain a refund. Already going to be waiting months for the £1300 from the 30th trip. Anybody suggest the best course of action? Thanks.
