We have more waiting as well. Our valuation was only instructed on the 5th of May. Told we should hear something in the next two weeks with regards to it being done.0

Pre-lockdown survey now getting done after contacting L&G directly who then advised to contact Esurv as they were carrying out the survey.
Gave them the EA and vendors number and they sorted it direct with the vendor.
If you are Natwest customer (even through a broker) I'd reccomend getting in touch and following the paper trail. Especially if you were booked pre-lockdown. Natwest, L&G and Esurv have all been nothing but polite and helpful with our enquiries 👍Total Value of wins in 2009: £900 appox. 2010: £730Wins 2011: Carlisle Utd Tickets (twice!), Baby Food Hamper, Straighteners, Chugginton Toy0 -
Still not heard anything, honestly loosing the will to live and natwest have been useless. Nobody has a clue what’s going on and just keep saying wait. We’ve been waiting since February!0

Easy-peasy... called L&G and confirmed that they instructed e.surv. Called e.surv and they promised me to raise a ticket to get in contact with the estate agent. Within 15mins the estate agent called me to confirm that my valuation is booked for Thursday.0

Going to take time to free the log jam. Not as if everybody suddenly returned to work. There's many people still furloughed.Leonberger said:Still not heard anything, honestly loosing the will to live and natwest have been useless. My Application was approved with Barclays pending valuation...this was instructed on the 5th May..is there anyway I can find out when this is likely to be done..broker seems to think it's a sit and wait....just asking is there no way I can find out..is it worth me contacting Barclays?0

Hi,
Finally had the nod that Dudley Bldg Society will conduct the Valuation. They’ve asked us for an email to confirm we know of the associated risks of them doing it and the purchase not going through. Really feel we are jumping through many hoops to buy this house, but they’re probably safeguarding themselves in these unprecedented times.Does anyone know who Dudley use to do their valuations and do they have a massive backlog??0 -
The surveyor who just did my valuation yesterday said I was his first job back after the lockdown.Save £12k in 2025 #33 £2531.77/£5000 (If this carries on I might have to up my target!)

Hii.. why don’t you ring Barclays and ask which surveyor has been instructed to carry out your valuation. Mine is with Natwest but I rang them yesterday, after legal and general told me , my valuation has been allocated to a surveyor. Natwest told me, connells were instructed and to wait for connells to ring my vendor. I rang connells and gave them my vendors mobile number and after 30 mins, I got a text confirming survey booked for Friday 29th may. Please contact Barclays.jenks48 said:My Application was approved with Barclays pending valuation...this was instructed on the 5th May..is there anyway I can find out when this is likely to be done..broker seems to think it's a sit and wait....just asking is there no way I can find out..is it worth me contacting Barclays?0
