Refund of cruise trip arrived June 1 but we are still waiting for our refund for the pre-booked shore trips which were booked separately.  Eventually got through to P&O (yes, we got through!) and were told that the pre-booked shore trips refunds would be sent separately they also asked did I fill in the request form for a refund!   Has anyone else had a similar experience?

    Hi
    Refund Form
    pocruises.com/request
I thought you only filled in if cruise booked direct with P & O might be different with trips. I am also aware they dont pay the trip providers until after the trips have happened ,so no reason not to refund your money
    Hope that helps
    Cheers John

Same day I post my query, I decided I'd had enough of the waiting so I wrote to credit card company to claim off the Section 75.  Co-incidently, 2 days later I received a generic apologetic letter from P&O explaining that pre-booked offshore trips were being treated separately and would be credited to me in due course.  So I now have 2 irons in the fire.  It's a question of how long it will take via the Section 75 claim. Fingers crossed.
    Regards  Dave

    EUREKA!!!
Have been paid outstanding money by P&O.  Looks like using Section 75 works as the Credit Card people have put pressure on to P&O to pay up.   Was credited through Card and not Cheque as Holiday booking was.
signing off this forum link but thanks for all advice and suggestions.  Best of luck to everyone.

  • promised a refund within 60 days for my cruise on 17/3/20 have now had to resort to section 75 charge back. P+O keep referring to me as a loyal customer ,i am now a loyal ex customer.I hope that you all remember how they treated you when you consider who to cruise with next time !

  • I booked 2 cabins, for a cruise in May with P&0. One of them was for my 80 year old father in law. Promised a full refund back in March, however we are still waiting for it, despite numerous emails. Will never book to use this company again, and will tell everyone to avoid!
