Web cam with Zoom HOw?

Hi I have an old Logitech C270 web cam on my desktop Windows 10 
I have a zoom meeting tomorrow and haven't used my web cam for yonks how do i get my web cam to work with zoom?

If the webcam works okay with the computer then zoom will find it when required (although you may have to authorise it).
You can go into the camera app on your computer and try and take a photo to see if the webcam works.
If not report back for more help.

Hi i have reinstall my software for my C270 to the windows 10 software but i do not have all the features the old windows 7 software had all i seem to have is basic features no option for taking photos etc.

Can i go back to the software that's for windows 7 os and will it work with zoom?

You will still have the camera app on Windows 10. 
Click on the start menu to find it.
I wouldn't start trying to downgrade your software at this point, that will get a lot more complicated than sorting the camera.

When I open up 'camera' on my W10 PC it automatically goes live and shows what it can see (i.e. me!)

Hi @pramsay13 i was going to post the comments below BUT i have just read the instructions for windows 8 and i have to use the windows camera app for all the features. I really need to start reading instructions

I don't have a start menu when i click on either the icon or go through the menu list of programs it goes straight to the web cam and only displays these settings, on the home tab its. wide or normal view and anti flicker.
Then for advanced setting  = colour, contrast, whiteness, auto white balance 
When i zoom in on my face a big + sign comes up but nothing happens when i click on it 
On the plus side i have just tested it with zoom and it works  
I an unsure how to post screen shots to here so its more easy to explain as tinypic has Ceased Operations.

Hi everyone well the camera went well but the microphone didn't
My voice sounded like a record on high speed.
So i have installed the web cam software as my web cam worked without it  before and i was unaware of the voice issue
I have just used voice recorder to test it and everything now seems fine now.

No.
 Before the meeting my web cam worked on the windows camera app and also  in the zoom meeting but it turns out  i had the microphone issue which i was unaware of until the zoom meeting.
so after the meeting i decided to see if installing the web cam software would make a difference which it did.
I had No reason to suspect the microphone wasn't working correctly as windows had recognised the web cam in the windows camera app and even named it.
