    I would have thought a pair of long nosed pliers would have got that out. Or extra long needle nosed pliers.

    I agree, some snipe nose pliers. I doubt any amount of glue or magnetic attraction is going to work.

    There's not enough space to grip the spindle. If the magnet doesn't work, I'm probably going to get someone to look at this
