Some mobile phone providers offer 'free' calls and SMS to landlines and mobiles for a fiver a month.

I've just checked Virgin Media's website.  108Mbps, 100 channels and weekend phone plan costs new applicants £29.99 a month, then £59 a month after twelve months.  £35 set up fee.

You should be able to persuade them to offer you that for £29.99 a month (or cheaper).
