Expedia refusing airline refund/only part of journey cancelled

I booked two flights to Toronto from Birmingham, via Paris, using Expedia. I booked Virgin Atlantic flights but Air France is the airline we would be travelling with. Air France has confirmed that our flights between Paris and Toronto and return have been cancelled but not the flights between Birmingham and Paris. Expedia has told me that Virgin Atlantic will only give a voucher to be used by the end of Nov 2020. I cannot travel another time so would like a refund. Virgin Atlantic and Air France have said contact Expedia. Expedia won’t refund. First of all, am I entitled to a refund and secondly, can I ask for a refund for the full journey, as I booked as one Trip?
The flights to Paris are no good to me without the onward journey.
