When will UK based hotels re-open (based on the re-opening timeline published this week)?

Not sure if this is the correct forum, although my question is 'travel related', so hopefully this is the correct place:
Alongside my main job I also run a side-business online.
As part of that I (and a few people who work for me) need to travel to a different part of the country, and stay in cheap-hotels (travel-lodge) for 1-2 nights whilst we are there,
however due to all hotels currently being legally forced to close I have had to postpone the next business-trip.
I am trying to make provisional plans now though, and so was expecting that based on the current lock-down relaxing measures hotels (such as Travelodge) would likely be reopened by the 1st week of June?
Does anyone know how likely that time-frame as being realistic & correct though please?

No. No one knows.
It's a fluid situation.1 -
Release of lockdown will be determined by the science and peoples behaviour. Mass movement of people around the country isn't on the agenda at the moment. Containment at a local level is going to be the immediate focus over the coming weeks.
Many people struggle to comprehend and obey the basic instructions even now. Making unlikely they'll be trusted with anything more challenging for some time.3 -
Looking at yesterday's crowds out and about on beaches , in parks and out and about in London ( which was a hot spot ) then we have absolutely no chanceEx forum ambassador

Based on what Boris said today it appears hotels will not be allowed to re-open until 1st July?

Suicides are on the increase. Mental health is an increasing concern. A balancing act . The majority of the population , greater than was originally forecast, are respecting the rules. Those that aren't will suffer their own consequences. Higher penalties will be on there way I suspect.blindman said:

It's what has been said from day one. Until we find a vaccine nothing will change very much. And a vaccine takes a long time to test1

The media isn't helping by trying to second guess the next move. When nobody can predict events even a few days ahead. News from Germany today shows how fragile the situation can be. Even after a short period of relaxation.hollydays said:It's what has been said from day one. Until we find a vaccine nothing will change very much. And a vaccine takes a long time to test1 -

Forget a vaccine, you'll have to learn to live a new normal.0 -
