Yes, we will but a bit ironic coming from someone who's been claiming universal credit from the government for a while!Mrsn said:Nobody has a crystal ball for these things.
I work in a school and have much uncertainty as to what will happen going forward. It’s the same principle really, I have no control and will just have to go with it.... Suki is right we cannot keep furlough going forever and people are going to have to accept that we need to start getting back on track.
UC is for that work and are on low incomes as well as for those that are unable to work.

Although cars are currently at a low sales, I am sure they will pick up again once everybody starts moving again. It always amazes me how people with no money think its a good idea to stretch themselves on PCP or whatever to get a new car. I doubt the current situation would have taught them anything.0

@ Just trying I’m really not sure whether that was meant for the OP or me regarding the “ironic part” however both me and my husband work and have done for the last 20 years.... Universal Credit helps those in and out of work.just_trying said: Yes, we will but a bit ironic coming from someone who's been claiming universal credit from the government for a while!

For me UC means help towards childcare costs, for others it’s towards rent or because they are ill and unable to work.1 -
I used to work in car sales. A lot of customers are stupid. They do not know basic maths. All they are interested in is the monthly cost, nothing else. They would much rather spend £400 a month a new audi, than actually just get a car for their needs not for show.sharpe106 said:Although cars are currently at a low sales, I am sure they will pick up again once everybody starts moving again. The OP is scared. Not sure why as car sales will always be an earner - just ask Arthur Daley.
Still, he has asked for input from those "in the know", which none of us normal folk are. Isn't it just outrageous that there are no cabinet ministers coming on here to just answer the question!?!4 -
Even with a crystal ball and a pack of tarot cards I wouldn't like to predict what the world will look like in 6 + weeks time.
