Jetline Travel cancelled holiday and refusing refund. Help!

I booked a package holiday through Groupon and this was organised by Jetline Travel. As the holiday has been cancelled, I have been offered only £240 cash refund (the holiday cost £416 in total) from Jetline OR a credit note to the full amount. I tried to open a dispute with the bank, however, as the holiday is ABTA protected they declined this.
Can someone suggest what I should do next? The service that was offered by Jetline Travel has been poor from the start so I do not want to accept a credit note.
Has anyone else had any trouble with Jetline Travel and been able to resolve this?
Should I consider a refund credit note - can this be exchanged for cash at a later date? I haven't been offered this as yet, but is it worth requesting?

Thanks in advance!

Did they say why they were only offering £240 cash refund?

They have told me that they cannot uncover the rest of the funds and, therefore, would have to claim through travel insurance. Despite me having asked them multiple times, they have not confirmed what makes up the £240 recoverable funds and what makes up the rest. It is somewhat suspicious as when I initially booked the holiday I searched the flights and the hotel and neither of there equated to this amount.

Did you get an ABTA cert with an amount on?

It is an ATOL certificate, unfortunately, they usually do not have any value stated on them. There are numerous complaints about Jetline and Groupon on this site, if you produce evidence they are refusing to refund to your card issuer, you should be successful in making a chargeback. It is for an operator to collect payments, it is not your concern at all. If you pay x you are entitled to x back.
