Going home?

On first day of lockdown I moved in with daughter, son in law and grand children. I have my own self contained flat within sheltered housing 3 miles away. Can I return to my flat for rest of lockdown? Communal entrance but all else private and self contained.
Grateful for answers I received when first posted but no definitive answer.0

No need to post this again - you were answered the first two times you asked.

You would be allowed to go home to you own flat. If someone else in your current household has to drive you make sure they don't come into the accommodation with you. People are only being advised to make car journeys that are necessary but I feel it probably is in your case as you are probably driving each other insane! I would hate to be out of my own home for so long. Besides 3 miles isn't much of a distance. I have to drive 3 miles to get my shopping.0
