Painting disaster!

Hello, I am looking for some advice if possible. I painted my composite front door yesterday (the outside) but am pretty sure I have used the wrong kind of paint, I used Ronseal weatherproof but only after I started did I notice I had bought one that is for just wood. I hoped it would be ok and although it looks the part if I scratch it the paint comes off. I am not sure the best course of action, do I paint over it with the right paint? do I try to strip that paint off (if so how?) or is it beyond repair?

No point in slapping another coat of paint over the top of what has already been applied. Without a decent "key", it will peel & flake off.You will need to remove the paint you've already applied - Do not use a hot air gun or any chemical paint stripper. It will need to be sanded off carefully. Once cleaned, an etching primer should be applied - The type of primer will depend on what exactly the outer skin is made of (it could be GRP, uPVC, or possibly metal). Once primed, a suitable exterior grade paint can then be applied.Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.1 -
Try Frenchic paint once you have got rid of this other coat . They do an external one for UPVC doors

I've just painted some composite wardrobe doors & after researching online, I bought Dulux's Primer & Undercoat for Difficult Surfaces from B&Q & am extremely happy with the results. Whilst vacuuming the bedroom the other day I tugged on the vacuum lead a bit too hard causing the vacuum cleaner to bash against one of the doors. I was really worried that it might have damaged the painted surface of the door in some way, but not a mark or a chip anywhere.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
Try removing it with a scraper or shavehook.

I'm afraid it won't stick and will peel off because obviously, each material will have the right paint
