Me and NSD dont see eachother often so let's hope I can keep it up haha..
I have so many toys/clothes the kids have outgrown, I tend to tell myself every penny helps to get towards being debt free. I tend to get abit down when I become at a standstill thought the middle of the month to make sure I have enough money to last etc. I'm glad I got this forum and all you lovely people to help me through x1 -
Yes can definitely relate to that feeling mid-month, so that’s a good idea! It’s all heading in the right direction though, which is better than I was before! I see not adding to my debt as good as paying it off as I used to also be bad at NSDs. Hoping the habit sticks once there are more temptations! This forum is great for keeping on track, deffo!Total Debt @ LBM: £26,380.49

That's a really good way at looking at it, when I feel rubbish mid month I will be reminding myself that..
Not really much to update here, back to work today after few days off and looking forward to pay day Friday. Did manage another NSD hoping for atleast 4 this week. Will have to have a LSD tomorrow, need milk so I will only be taking money needed not to be tempted by buying anything else.
Hope everyones ok and keeping safe xx1 -
I didn't want to read an run
You have made amazing progress already! And i follow a very similar plan to you with rounding my account and paying the small amounts off, I agree it all adds up and helps seeing it come down even a small amount.
Your organisation inspires me, I am also trying to get my food bill cut down, although there are only 2 of us at the moment we definately could spend less than we do.
I am looking forward to following your progress and using some of your ideas to be more organisedTotal remaining debt: 0

I feel like I'm wish my life away, waiting for every payday to come month. 2 more days till pay day and looking forward to paying overpayment on my loan. Love seeing the figure go down. Not much from me today, work today and a LSD I hope (will update how I do tonight)1 -
Thank you for taking the time to read my diary! Im trying to stay in the habit of updating it as i feel i its really helping progress.
I just use Prolific Academic at the moment as I find i make the most from there and it pays out at £5 which is good.
It's taken a long time to get my debt down from £20,000 to where it is now, and i slipped up a lot of times over the years addding to it. But now I can see the end I am really focused.
I am exactly the same i am always counting down to payday to make the next payment, but i pay small amounts regularly just to keep my motivation going.Total remaining debt: 0

I'd second prolific. Quite often see surveys.. some take 2mins for 10p others 30+ mins for several £s. £5 minimum payout which is low and the money is transferred instantly

Thank you both I will have to give it a go.
So little update, I managed a LSD the other day with just buying milk and bread, so £3.18 spend. I managed another NSD yesturday making to to 3 this week. Today is pay day so will be a HSD. On the plus side I still had money left over in the bank before pay day so have transferred that off my loan.
Hope everyone is keeping safe xx0 -
After a weekend of little spends here and there I'm feeling a little down, nothing was what I needed and £80 spent. I need to tell myself today is a new day and get back to being back on track.
£50 overpayment has been made on loan. £50 refund also coming back from car insurance over next 14 days.
Plan today-
Meal plan for the week
Ring tui and see when refunds coming back
