Have you hoovered your shed yet?

I have been doing some organising but have a slight problem in that doing big DIY jobs means there is mess of 'moved out of the way' stuff in my bedroom. To make things worse I have 3 x 3m beech worktops behind the bed that I will now never use (kitchen was refurbed by a company rather than me) that are too heavy for me to move and no one I can ask for help. My bedroom is going to be the last room to be done, but how I will move those worktops I have no idea (saddo with no friends and some disabilities). I tried pre covid to put some things on Freegle, no one wanted them lol. Anyone want an almost unused good quality single mattress?
With DIY tools, boxes of stuff etc, my bedroom is only vaguely useable. Hating it.0 -
I've done a lot of de-cluttering in the house but the tip is closed so it's all been moved into the shed!1

Same here. I've also got loads of stuff for the charity shop. Can't wait to get rid of it all. I have discovered that the paper recycling at Sainsburys is still been collected so I've managed to get rid of my old paperwork.

I hoovered my shed after I repaired and tidied it. Then I hoovered the patio between the York slabs, then I thought I'd really go for it and hoovered the drive. Then some walkers went past so I pretended I was hoovering the car.Love living in a village in the country side6

I very recently moved, so have the pleasure of unpacking / organising and sorting for charity. Doing a bit each day. Getting used to my home (older FTB) and it's quirks.
Plus I've a garden to attend to as it's been neglected, but has very good points which I'm basing my design around. No shed, but I've purchased a greenhouse. I'm slowly sweeping / tidying the patio area with an old painters brush I found in the garden. I've prioritised the garden as I'm having nice weather and it's good to have outside space to relax in, I'm sure I will spend a lot of time in it when I'm back in the office, rather than working at home.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton2 -

We have three sheds - an art shed, a tool shed and a general storage shed. My husband has tidied them all and hoovered the art shed. They all look immaculate now!(AKA HRH_MUngo)
