Thanks born_again, guess it's difficult for the OP as if they just dump it in store without something in return they'd have no proof of returning the goods. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0

I recently sought a refund on an unopened article ( with the receipt ) from The Range, Weston Super Mare. The article was purchased 20th March 3 days before 'Lockdown'. As a vulnerable pensioner I fully complied with the Lockdown advice regarding non 'Essential Travel' . The first opportunity to return to the store was June 8th after the Government relaxed travel and movement. The store manager refused to honour a refund because it was outside the 28 day return criteria even though I tried to explain my dilemma. I wrote to The Range head office and received a similar negative response. The value of the article is irrelevant but there is a strong principle here regarding a Company seeking to disadvantage customers and disregarding Government policy to meet their own criteria and seek a pecuniary advantage. I have logged the incident with the Competition and Marketing Authority.0

Bought in store no obligation on the store to give a refund .

A change of mind for a store bought item is a goodwill gesture from the store and they can stipulate the terms of that return.
You have no consumer rights to return a change of mind item bought in a store0 -
I bought cleverspa hot tub from the range last year April by September the heater stopped working I’d registered the warranty with cleverspa when I got it so I contacted them straight away they advised me that the collection team would be intouch to collect it. They never have made contact, I sent several emails from September to December some I got reply saying ‘DUE TO COVID’ they ar waiting for parcel force to release more dates now I was promised mid January I’d be put on the list we now into March and seem replying from that email and asking what’s going on? My emails ar now failing to send and coming straight back to me. I really don’t know what I can do here but it wasn’t cheap and can’t afford to go buy another but I know I’ll never buy cleverspa ever. My last tub was belways lazy spa, I had that almost 6 years, up constantly all year round, so I know my stuff on these hot tubs. Please help as I’m giving in it’s been going on that long0

What exactly are you asking ??Fail to send is usually user entering wrong email address .0

Have a look at their facebook page. Several complaints about lack of response but one suggestion given of how to get an answer on the phone.0

Awful company, how long before they go bust I wonder. Let the bank do a charge back, maybe then sell the Spa for parts or try and repair it and keep it!0
