help !!!!! whats a nunchuck ..... do i need skins for the controllers ... what do they do ?
is wiiplay worth it ....
is a controller charger worth it ... where do i get one ... and how do i charge the controllers if i havnt got one
thankyou ... im lost0 -
A nunchuck is the second remote it looks a bit like a joystick but hand held. You usually get 1 nunchuck andd 1 controller in the box with tthe wii. You don't need the nunchuck with all games.
skins for controllers are just a plastic covering yoou can get packs of two(one blue and one pink) Myself I'd go for a prtective cover which is rubberised so when you hit someone wiith the controller(yes it sounds stupid but I watched my dad do it the other week) it doesn't hurt as much.
Wii play is worth it if it's anout £40 because you get an extra controller and cool mini games when the contrroller is about £33. All you need then is another nunchuck which is about £15.
The controllers use AA batteries I'm thinking of getting a charger from Amazon, if you read other peoples feedback about them before buying it.
Hope this helps0 -
Sorry about sspelling wireless keyboard gone nuts0

A nunchuck is used to play certain games, for example in boxing its your "left hand" and the wiimote is your right, you dont need it for the rest of the games on wiisports. It is also used in lots of other games like Zelda, for controlling the character etc. The standard Wii package comes with one nunchuck.
You only need a skin if you want to keep your controllers from getting dirty, the wiimote now comes with a padded jacket to help avoid you breaking your window I suppose, for example as you fling it around while bowling.
You can use any normal rechargeable batteries (uniross brand is what I have) rather than go for the charger, that way you can use it for all your general battery needs, the wii-charger does seem to complement the whole wii setup though.
The wiimote comes with standard AA non rechargeable batteries, they last about 3-6 months, depending on usage.
Hope that clears up some of the confusion0 -
Oh and wii play as a game is pants, but if you are getting a second controller works out to to about 3-8 quid, which is how much I would say the game is worth...but it's a good game for the kids I suppose.
I would say the crazy prices on ebay (50+) is because people value the second remote that comes with it highly enough. And after Wii Sports, Wii Play sounds like the game to get right?
Wii fitness should be out soon, I bet you that will be as sold out as Wii play!0 -
When on my Dad's I found Wii play helped me get used to the controls (I've got bad shakes which need a llot of practice can't see mee playing Jenga onn the wii thats for sure)0

I ordered a bundle on the 19th, the bundle + play + sims + WWE and it showed as pre order and then delivery date of 3rd but I got a call about a week early saying it had been delivered to my local store by mistake so I just went and picked it up.
There have been several people who ordered the monday after who have said they have received theirs already as well.0 -
Did anybody else who had ordered a Wii through Wilkinson Plus, have problems with delivery today?
I waited in allday and then come 6pm with no Wii delivered, I called customer services and was informed that Amtrack (their courier) had not scanned the package for delivery today so it didn't turn up! Great service!
So they have emailed Amtrack and should be calling us tomorrow for an update. I really find it disgusting how these firms treat their customers over home delivery (that I paid £2.95 extra for).
I will be writing a formal letter of complaint to Wilkinson Plus about this. Just wanted other customers feedback.0 -

I was lucky to get one from Wilkinsons about 3 weeks ago. I ordered it on a Thursday and it arrived the following Tuesday. What I would say though is that they should have a parcel tracking system in place.0
