Just a thought....but the number of people who have ended up buying two (or more!) Wii's then deciding to return one back for a refund surely can't be helping the shortage any!

Also do the returned Wii's go back on the shelves or do they get sold at a discount as returns as in this post on another thread?

Register with Argos and bid on customer returns at their distribution HQ at Daventry, Northants.

Argos staff will load pallet(s) on your vehicle - best to have a van I think.

I totally hear what your are saying but desperation started to set in yesterday afternoon and in an effort to help me sis to get one for her boys I bought the one off of play.com. Pure fluke meant that I logged onto the forum today and saw them on sale at JL much cheaper......my sis is a single mum and needs every penny she can get so in order to save her money I ordered the cheaper one and will send the other one back - or pass onto any moneysavers that might want it at cost price (no profit to myself). I too have had to search hard and dont agree with anyone buying more than one when they dont need it but in my instance it was something that I had to do.

Anyone who ordered from tesco earlier...well my money has come out and i rang tesco and the girl rang head office and they said they would let me know tomorrow if the order was coming..she was a very nice lady and said she would fight me for it as they are like gold dust....So we should all know tomorrow if we will get one...if not she said she would refund me the money

popped into my local tesco store in high wycombe and they had wii plays in stock

also anyone looking for the high school musical singing game with microphone i heard they are like goldust at the moment, well in zavvi(virgin megastore) in wycombe they have them priced at 40quid

also gamestation Mario party 8 is 17.99 in my local gamestation i got one today

Any delivery timescale for the Wii play from Studio ?.

My MIL ordered 2 from them begining of November, heard nothing, she called them yesterday to be told they will be dispatching/ getting more stock in Feb 08.
