  • me neither, it must have all gone.
  • OMG I managed to get one from John Lewis, last chance for anyone wanting the bundle I got from Shop to.com, I will be returning this in a couple of hours.
  • Must have missed that! Maybe they are releasing one at a ime again like they did a few weeks ago. If that is the case you will need to refresh the page constantly all day until you get one.
Time for a flash, potty and F5 button me thinks!!
  • Thanks Adrian2000!! Just brought one!

Re: The earlier post about Wiis from Japan:

    1) THe source is apparently Mail on Sunday, but I did a search online, and there's no such article. Please provide a link
    2) Japan operate on NTSC don't they? so how will their products work here?
    3) As has been said earlier, Xmas hot toys have never had their supply situation improved.

    4) Ebay prices are already increasing again. I'd ask people to buy one now, if they haven't already, as prices will go up further. I personally don't beleive this Japan story, and it is unlikely supply situation is going to improve. You will find that from 15th Dec there'll be a mad rush of people who couldn't find one at RRP, and their place hasn't come up on the waiting list. Then Ebay will be too expensive.

So I bit the bullet and bought mine from here last week http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZasimlut
Seller replies to emails very promptly, and I received it within 3 days.

Very Expensive as you have to add £19.99 to add wii sports which is already included with most of the other auctions on ebay plus postage on top of that!!
Hardly a deal of the day!!

Could it be you have excess stock to offload quickly as the price drops?

Whoa - easy Tiger, that comes across as a very curt response - don't shoot the messenger!

1 - There is no online version of the article you had to buy the paper, I typed it in as I thought it would be of interest.
Don't forget the MoS aren't the most accurate for detail - Saunders is probablly asking his bosses to airfreight any available consolse rather than surface ship them - from the factory, so not Japanese consoles (your point 3), the MoS probably assumed they were manufactured in Japan - they may well be.
4 - I don't put any provenance in the story either (MoS!!), but as I said thought it would be of interest.
