Are all the bids on eBay actually real bids?

It's just thtt when looking at who's actually bidding for these Wiis it always says Bidder 1, or Bidder 5. Why doesn't it just say their user names like it always has done before?

It just means the seller has checked the "keep bids private" option on their auction.
;7098655]That would the the D2C chip and, yes, there are now chips available for this.
Any board up to D2B can be easily upgraded, although D2B needs the chip 'dremelled' to expose 3 cut pins.

Board D2C and later (Serials LEH135*** and Higher) Requires the D2CKey chip (hence the name).

However its not for the inexperienced to fit:

Good luck getting those connections soldered.

EDIT - there is now an easier method, but its still not for inexperienced solderers:

Not for me it doesn't - is that using the link above? Could it be a regional thing? (I'm in Dorset.)

Just looked on wii-consoles.co.uk and they're advertising the wii' on Argos website as being postcode dependent.

Unfortunately due to UK stock shortages we will not be able to supply Wii Play until 2008
Currently out of stock with Nintendo. Sendit.com will not be able to guarentee fulfillment of stock

Amazon.de - got them in stock now. Works out about £35 with delivery.

Box and manual will be in German but game is multi-language. And if you're bothered you can download Wii play instructions from nintendo uks website.

Collected mine from Tesco Direct last night :-)
Had absolutely no joy with getting the free game, asked both Entertainment manager and store manager and they both said sorry but we are completely different from Tesco Direct. Worth a try...... did anyone else have any joy?

Well the lady I just spoke to was very helpful (after speaking to 2 and them "transferring" me to a colleague, which actually meant they put me back to the options!
The lady looked into it properly as opposed to saying it's despatched and that's all they can say. She told me it was loaded onto lorry this morning and will be in-store today.

As for the free game, is it worth saying you rang Tesco Direct and they told you the game would be free? They may give it you as a gester??

• Hi,

I am subscribed to an email newsletter from Advance Computer Fairs. In their latest email they claim that Wiis are available at ALL their fairs. They operate in the North West of England and there are still a few to go before Christmas. I don't know any other details about price etc. but might be worth a try.

Their URL is http://www.advancefairs.co.uk/.

Good luck.
