Looking at the completed listings a good few have sold for under £200. Also quite a few have had 0 bids. I even noticed a couple that started a 99p with no bids! I don't get how some go for £260. Shill bidding or someone getting carried away when bidding I suppose, but there are so many to choose from they could take their pick and get it for a more realistic price. Every day whne I check ebay there are over 6000 for sale with a couple of days of 8000-9000.

richto..can you give me a hint about where to find a decent reliable courier for a fiver...& insurance as an option for any higher priced sales? (Cheapest I could get would be £12)

Out of curiosity, is it worth getting games from the continent? Will they play in English like a normal UK game? Will the boxes be in the country's language? Are they cheaper?

People are prepared to pay more for a trusted Ebay seller with good feedback, quick delivery etc. Higher risk sellers usually get a lower than average sale price.

Quite right. The bidder has to take into account the postage quoted, and tailor their bid accordingly. In any case, the postage cost is not intended to be the cost of the stamps, it includes packaging, taking the item to the depot etc.

Mostly though, sellers bump up the postage as a way of reducing final value fees.

Actually looking through a long list there are a few going that cheap. The average is more like £260 delivered though.
