Did anyone manage to go through Quidco? I tried and it couldn't find the product code and when I typed in Wii out of stock appeared.

Woohoo, got one at last!

I had the !!!!!!!!!!! and wii-consoles stock checkers running and wii-consoles popped up stock for JL. I didn't even have an account setup and I still managed to get one I just need one more for my sister's kids now.

I wonder how many work hours the country has lost to this Wii shortage, I dread to thing how much time I've spent looking _pale_

Just checked the wii pre order site and microdirect are selling the basic package for £328.99:eek: although I think last time I looked they were £350ish so they may drop the price further as more UK stock becomes available

Microdirect now £317. Look at their excuse for the price hike!
We all know they cost a similar price from Europe and that postage isn't horribly expensive. Even before the shortage they were charging over the odds for the basic package

Micro Direct apologise for the increased prices of our Nintendo Wii product. This is due to severe shortages which means we have had to source products from Europe. We hope to obtain a better sell price as and when more products becomes available.
