I logged on to my Tesco account today to see what status my Nintendo Wii order was at. It stated contact customer services.
I phoned them to be told that they had no stock and my credit card would be refunded. I stated that other people were told this and if she contacted their head office they should be able to tell me that they had stock. She said that she could not call customer services, so I asked for the number and she gave it to me. Whilst I was on the phone to the head office
I received a call from someone on behalf of Tesco Direct, to say that my order for the Nintendo Wii would be delayed for 24hrs. I then phoned the lary back at Tesco Direct only to be told the same old thing that they did not have any stock and that I would not get the Nintendo Wii and they would refund my money.
I said what about the call that I had just received on behalf of Tesco Direct saying that the order had been delayed by 24Hrs. She just said that they do not have stock and she would refund my money.
So does not look like I am going to get my order, and maybe some of you won't get them either.

Does anyone know if changing a delivery address or delivery type (free to 1st class) on an Amazon UK order due to dispatch the 8th Dec would cancel the order or make it less likely to arrive before Christmas ?.
A very nice forum member is willing to help me get a Wii, but i'm not sure if they change the free delivery to paid, if that would !!!! it up somehow. Smile, you only get one life, LIVE IT.0 -

With 1 click you have 90 minutes to change thing but if they are preparing for despatch you can't. This is what is on my order from yesterday: We are preparing these items for dispatch and this part of your order cannot be cancelled or changed

Hmm.
They claim to have a proven track record of successful projects with local companies and home users so someone from their area might have heard of them .
