I'm suspicious that Ryanair's error message after clicking for a refund is placed deliberately

I have just tried a number of times to claim a refund for (Ryanair cancelled) return flights to France. When i click the submit button, it then shows the following error message: "Apologies an error has occurred, click here to view contact details for Ryanair" - You then click on the said link and it takes you to a FAQ page. Has anybody else encountered the same issue and has anybody had any joy completing their refund request from this point?

There is a very long thread about RyanAir refund issues and similar technical glitches over on the Coronavirus Travel Rights Board.1 -
I did a chargeback with my cc company & received a full refund within 7 working days.
