I celebrate when it rains

It’s a bit sad really, but I celebrate when it rains, because it means that I can get out and exercise without having to dodge other people all the time. Is it just me that’s finding it tiresome having to keep a constant eye out in order to avoid the rest of humankind?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

We’ll all get wet.

I celebrate when it rains because then I don't need to lug the watering can all over the sodding garden in an effort to keep alive the countless new plants I've been putting in in an effort to stave off boredom!2

What I found amazing is the amount of people who, when the sun's out really need their exercise, but when it rains, they remarkably don't need it then. Odd that. We go out daily, rain or shine, because we have dogs and it's so much quieter when it's raining.0

Maybe they work on the basis of needing exercise 3 or 4 times a week, have access to the weather forecast/windows and therefore schedule their outdoor exercise for when it’s dry which seems perfectly reasonable.Splatfoot said:What I found amazing is the amount of people who, when the sun's out really need their exercise, but when it rains, they remarkably don't need it then. I don’t get why anyone would complain about people exercising in dry weather particularly when it’s permitted under the guidance.2 -
Never seen so many dogs out and about when walking mine. Bet a lot of these dogs I see at moment have never been out for a walk before.Splatfoot said:What I found amazing is the amount of people who, when the sun's out really need their exercise, but when it rains, they remarkably don't need it then. It is beautiful here today and there seem to be even more people out and about than on any other 'normal' weekday!
Edit - had forgotten that today is officially a bank hol! It's not difficult!
'Wander' - to walk or move in a leisurely manner.
'Wonder' - to feel curious.0 -
