Universal credit payment increase

Howdy!
My previous payment was £317.82. This has been increased to £409.89.
I was under the impression that the sum would increase by £80 . I'm not complaining obviously ,and the new amount is appreciated
The reason I'm querying this here , is that my lcwra coach has told me that there must ne a reason that I've got more than £80
i can't see anything in the u c journal. It just says "standard allowance ".
I'm on Jobseeker's Allowance .
Any ideas ?
Thanks

That's the correct amount for the standard allowance single person over 25. See link. https://www.gov.uk/universal-credit/what-youll-get
When you say you're claiming JSA, it's UC not JSA.

Monthly payment, yet the increase is £20 weekly, months are all over 4 weeks, surely that explains the extra?

It's roughly £20/week and there are more than 4 weeks in a month (£20 x 52 / 12 = £86.67). Also this increase was extra to the previously announced inflation linked increase.
I am astonished by the reply from your work coach.

To be fair, if it was done via journal message recently, it could have been any member of DWP staff as a lot of untrained/none benefit staff, have been moved to work on UC to deal with the huge increase in claims, so I would expect a few errors.

Fair comment, I took OP’s original comment at face value but it may not be correct.

Calcotti it wouldn't surpise if their WC did say that though. I just know how manic it's been, as a lot of staff are working from home.

Apologies for confusion. It wasn't the universal credit job coach. It was  my work related job coach. I'm supposed to get calls on a weekly basis checking on my welfare as I've been unemployed for over 2 years( but only signed up for universal credit last year ).
Im on immunosuppressants etc and am on total lockdown / vulnerable list.. Before lockdown, I Would be seeing the work related coach on a monthly basis. I now get these weekly calls but not at the same time /day, sometimes I don't get call as he is obviously working from home.
Because of covid19 I have potentially won my case for ltd capability for work subject to DWP acceptance etc.
Regarding the universal journal , they are snowed under and understandablly so.
I have run out of things to put in it . My last input being around the 14th April .
That was advising them of lcw. Also asking if I get any help with payment towards my service charges of leasehold flat( doubtful), which the job coach forwarded to the decision maker. Apologies for rambling on..😼

Covid19 doesn't automatically mean you're entitled to LCW.

Good section on EntitledTo. Are you a leaseholder or renting a leasehold property?
