Lifetime ISA transfer within tax yeear

If I transfer my cash LISA to another LISA provider within a tax year, does the paying into only one LISA limit apply, I.e can I not then pay into the new LISA until the tax year ends? Or does it count as the same LISA because it was transferred? I can’t find an answer for this anywhere!

No it's fine the LISA terms continue just with a new provider so you can use your remaining allowance in the same tax year with the new provider. As someone who has done it twice I would suggest it's easier to do this in a period where the account is quiet (eg you have filled it up and the bonus has been added) although it is also possible to do it while you are still awaiting the bonus on your recent contributions.
