    The one thing the current government has proved is that nobody has a clue what is going to happen, and when it does happen it will change rather rapidly.

    No. Other solutions such as dongles and tethering to mobiles could have been used, did she investigate these?

    No one is entitled to furlough for any reason.

    Can she use her holiday to cover the shortfall if she needs the money?
    Even if the company agreed Furlough is for a minimum of 3 weeks. So they would not be able to claim for her.

    Nobody knows, except maybe the PM and I'm not sure even he has decided yet! 
    It is costing as much as the entire NHS so it cannot go on much longer. I suspect that it will for certain industries which are ordered shuttered by the Government for example entertainment, restaurants, and leisure.  Given these aren't very high paying industries that might be more affordable.
