Iam with Pipex and i phoned them up on 28th Nov and asked for my MAC code got the usual we can give you 2 months free internet but i still wanted my MAC code.

Got it straight away so i signed up with ADSL24 waiting for activation. What i need to know is my Pipex payments come out on the 10th of each month so how much exactly will i owe Pipex regarding the 30 days i owe them.

I really want to cancel the Direct Debit i have with them but with me not knowing how much i owe them i cannot really cancel my Direct Debit payments.

Ive heard horror stories regarding Pipex taking money out of peoples accounts months after they have left so im worried in case it happens to me.

Can anyone tell me if i cncel the payments will Pipex still be able to take money out as they still will have my details on record.

once you ave migrated to ADSL24 - phone up Pipex to ensure that you account has been closed, and that no more payments will be taken .. or wait until the 30th day has gone by

it's easier to phone up sooner and get it sorted properly, rather than finding out in 6 months time that they have still be thinking that you were a customer
  • Think i will phone them when i have been activated with ADSL24.
  • yea pipex kept trying to take money from our account months after we canceled it, kept sending us invoice saying we o money when we didnt, be careful with them
  • Is it illegal or me to cancel my DD before pipex take their payment out.I dont mean i will not pay what i owe i just would rather cancel it and send them a cheque.
