Hello all.Well we didn't have the reported rain yesterday but the sun is shining again today, so the WM is on and the bedding awaits it's turn. That's all that is planned for today except I have to make a spag bol for Dad, ready to take up to his house tomorrow along with (hopefully) some of the delivery from Morries. I was thinking about making a cake this afternoon but I'm loathe to use up one of my eggs, I only have a few left and at present I can't get any more. Never thought that would ever be the case
Perhaps when people are able to go back to work the online shopping experience will improve, as people will have less time to bake..... that's my thoughts and I could be totally wrong. I have a carpet cleaner and it works quite well, but I am always amazed at the colour of the water no matter how often I do it, it's disgusting !
Mr Fix It is trying to update the gaming laptop with Fortnite as DGS wants me to play in squads. DGS was struggling yesterday, as were the rest of the family, so maybe if I can play on the X box it might help DGS and in turn DD etc. There seems to be a lot of swearing coming from Mr Fix It's corner so I shall leave him to sort things out as he won't give up, even if it takes him all day.Right the WM has finished so I shall hang the washing out.Take care all. Stay safe if you have to go out. Hugs to everyone and I hope all the hospital appointments go well today.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently13 -
Morning
Slot day for mum again but I slept till 6ish and there was still plenty so maybe I can relax bit nowJust checked her delivery for today and there were no subs or unavailables at all so things are clearly getting easier on that front. Her hearing is not bad now so relative calm has returned for now
Gorgeous day today so once the heat is in the sun it will be some garden time for me.
Bit of a recipe hunt for me today as I am so bored with my usuals.... think Ive just got into lazy meal planning and each each week is the same no excuse I have a myriad of possibilities with all my chef gazing.
Hope the appointment goes well ruby and they can put your mind at rest
Have a peaceful day all

Morning folks

Nelski Sorry I forgot to ask how your Mum is but I see that she's a little better today. I hope she continues to improve. Keep up the challenge today ! I have a Morries delivery tomorrow but I'm not sure what will turn up, I only had half a shop last time. This time they had no flour, eggs and very little fruit and veg to choose from. I think it's the fresh stuff I miss the most and so does my digestion. TMI perhaps ! I think in future I shall try to use Iceland for the fresh stuff as they seem to have more choice, plus I can get a slot easier. That's probably put the kibosh on that !I see on the Wales online site, that KFC opened in Swansea yesterday lunchtime for drive through only and the traffic was queued for miles and miles. I watched a video of it and they weren't kidding, it was horrendousI promise I'm not going to post again today and bore you all even moreLove to all nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently11

Hi everyone
I just wrote my post on the bottom of yesterdays so I'll try again!
I walked down to our nearest Homebase this morning and waited in a queue of about 30 people to get in - it took about 20 minutes but it was nice and sunny and I chatted to the lady in front of me.
I bought the plants I needed to go in my planters - I've got perennials then I don't need to buy bedding plants every year. So that's my job for this afternoon. My garden is going to be nice this year as it's had more time spent on it than ever before!
Gers - was it you waiting for dental treatment too? When I rang my dentist on Monday about my broken tooth I was told to ring every 2 weeks. She said they have no idea when they'll be able to open yet, but safety-wise they're ready. Really hope it's not too long!
Well I'm going to make a sandwich and sit outside in the sunshine
Hope everyone has a good day

Really hope it's not too long! Thanks DP1 - I phoned my dentist just now, there's only a recorded message about being closed! My tooth is still not painful, only unsightly though as I can't see it I'm not too bothered. Same with my hair, I can avoid the mirror!I had a lovely outing this morning as I drove a different route on the way back from the shopping trip and got slightly lost. As it was a beautiful day I just opened my window and enjoyed the road, drove through unknown areas (to me) and slowed down to see things. Eventually I saw a proper road sign which reassured me that I wasn't too lost.DM fed and watered, paper read and discarded and new book stashed away with the other.9 -
Afternoon all 😁
Lovely n sunny again today, so will sit out with Bon in a bit .She never let's me relax though, as She's used to playing with her Brothers, who both died within 6 months last year, so I end up with RSI in my shoulder, from throwing her ball 🙄
Am getting a Morries delivery for me n Mum later. She's obsessed with making fruit salad at the mo, so the fruit order weighs a ton 😯Think it's pizza for tea, with a jacket n coleslaw. Will pretend I'm back in Pizzaland in the late 80's .Think the deal was £2.49 for the above 😁
Lol don't You mean chef " perving?" 😂😉Hope RR gets on ok at hosp, n huggles to all the poorlies n peed offs today 😘x"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"
