Aww fabulous, you guys are awesome.

Was really getting worried, but it's so good to know there's people out there that will help and for nothing in return. Restores my faith in humanity!
It's not altruism, a parking company made the mistake of ticketing me and then being condescending about it. So I had to fight it and did.  Each forum contribution is just another kick in the nuts if it costs them ££.

    So....

Can you get a letter from your employers/HR confirming your unbroken period of employment and that at all times you were entitled to park on site. That can simply be appended to your statement.

If you can (and only if you can), I'd be minded to adopt a non standard defence as its much easier to defend in the first person. This is a pure admin error that is not of your making. They have the difficulty of not ticketing your car now, knowing you are an employee, but wanting to enforce against you. Although a retail park its quite different to beavis since employees need to be able to access the site, you were never entering the site as a customer to ava yourself of a fixed period of parking.
If all these points are well explained in correspondence, I doubt the judge will like their claim much.

Nevertheless, still include arguments of abuse of process over:
    1. Enhanced charges
    2. Incorrect interest calculated to the date of a single parking ticket when they were levied at different times and with bolt on costs being applied much later
This is gold. Thank you so much. I'll get on it.
Lol, you must be the parking scammers' worst nightmare, a human wrecking-ball to their disgusting business models!!

The template you want is actually in a thread by coupon mad from Feb 2020 , adapt it to reflect what Johnersh said.

At this stage there is no court , just the CCBC , a government office , no court has been allocated , do the AOS online by logging in with that password

Try and get the manager letter to include that the vehicle had full permission to park there and had been on exemption lists for some time , so an administrative error only due to a change of contractor

And one which the PPC is at fault - they would have, or SHOULD HAVE, known there was a white list in place - as this is not uncommon for businesses! - and so should have ensured data was transferred correctly.

Well I  spent a working life  getting helping idiots out of self induced scrapes so this seemed a natural progression.

Feels like you fellows are on a bit of crusade. Totally get it. These people are utter scum.
    ........... and Lady Fellows!
Yep, such as me (and a few others here).
I don't think the PPC Director in the telephone hearing I took part in today likes me very much...!
Case adjourned and a story for later unless he decides to run away and discontinue to avoid the scrutiny the court has ordered him to appear in person for.  Apparently courts like to ''see the whites of your eyes'' (Judge's words) when the allegations are serious...
Another popcorn ordering moment (even though I hate it)!

    Hello everyone,

Just an update, after doing my AoS and asking D/C/B/L for their client's legal authority to add £70 to each ticket, I got told that it was contractual and that they would plead their case at the hearing blah blah blah.

    Then I received:

an email from work with confirmation from the landowner that the tickets have been cancelled, except for one where I think D/CB/L cocked it up and got the wrong ticket number. Apparently that one wasn't even incurred at the same retail park so they must have their wires crossed. I can't be sure as I never kept any of their threatening letters so can't confirm.

I have, however, submitted a subject access request to the legal firm demanding copies of all the data relating to me and my vehicle so hopefully that'll shed some light on the matter.

In the meantime, they've said they're gonna go back to their client for further instruction (given that the landowner has effectively undercut them). I'm hopeful they'll discontinue and stop wasting my time. If they decide not to, I'll start drafting my response.

Attached is a copy of the email I sent them.

    Thanks again

Correct strategy at this point, might have been better to submit to the parking company as well.  No e-mail FROM you is attached.
