Proposing to my pregnant girlfriend

Hi,

so a little while ago I decided I wanted to propose to my girlfriend. Sorted out a ring and asked the parents, so far so good. We then found out she is pregnant which we’re both very excited for but I stalled with making engagement plans. Now lockdown is keeping us at home it’s put a hold on my plans! I really don’t think she would want it at home and I know she’s feeling rubbish with morning sickness and being stuck indoors. I think in an ideal world a proposal in private and on holiday would be ideal but that won’t be happening at the minute but I don’t really don’t want to wait long. Any ideas on this, even if it means waiting for lockdown to be relaxed a little?

Thank you

Is there anywhere scenic and pretty you could take her for a walk? A favourite local spot? Or,
Create something special at home, candle lit bathroom, petals in the bath, treat her to a spa type day then finish off with the proposal.

It doesn't have to be bells and whistles proposals, my OH suddenly got down on one knee as I was about to walk out the door to go home hundreds of miles away!

Just have the conversation, you're both grown ups and you're going to be responsible for a child.

Go somewhere lovely on u tube?  Tell her she is wonderful and ask her. It could really boost her up when she's feeling rough and sick and maybe wondering if you are ever going to ask ...

If it helps my husband proposed to me in Tesco! Well it wasn’t even a proper proposal it was just a “do you fancy getting married” deal. I even had to buy my ring till he could pay me back the next month as he proposed New Year’s Day and had no money after Christmas. My initial ring was £120 he replaced it a few years later with a better ring.

Similar here, our conversation happened in the kitchen. Whilst it might be nice to have a special event type of proposal, it is not essential
