Our daughter turns 7 this Saturday so we're planning a party at home which will include all the usual...party food, music, party games, the only thing missing will be other guests but she does have a sister and 2 brothers to join in the fun so I'm sure she'll have a great time. (mummy and daddy are up for a party too lol)0

Perhaps the idea of different costumes from the Avengers will be useful or interesting to you. I think it will be fun. Don't forget to challenge who will lift Thor's hammer

I have a milestone birthday later this month. As I’m in the support bubble with my parents, I will be staying overnight. Though my parents had birthdays last year when non essential retail, hairdressers etc were open. We would be still be doing what they did for their birthdays. Buying a few nice things from local butchers/delicatessen and buying a dessert from a small chain of cakes and desserts shop.0

My partners birthday was yesterday. Although he's mid 30's, I still wanted to make it special. As well as the usual gifts and cake, I secretly decorated the living room with a pack of pineapple and flamingo decorations from the supermarket while he was working upstairs and we wore party hats while eating lunch. Little touches that cost about £4 and 15 minutes of effort, but he really enjoyed the absurdity of it!1

my daughter loves going on holiday, all inclusive resorts so we turned our house into a hotel. buffet breakfast, holiday pool activites, buffet lunch, and we all got dressed up for a dinner in followed by a mini disco, she loved it. I think with lockdown you just have to think outside of the box a lot1

Followed by a hm cake from a birthday cake book from the 1980s.
It went down very well by DH. It's one of the kids' birthdays in 3 weeks time and she as asked could they do something similar for her birthday. They also played music from the 1980s in the background.0
