Lock Down Birthday Party Ideas!

2

Comments

  • It was my birthday last month and we had a quiz on zoom with all our friends. It was brilliant so much fun
  • Scavenger hunt for the prezzies, with family/friends doing it on FaceTime, Zoom etc
  • I got some sand from b&q and filled a section of the garden to give my daughter a beach party during lockdown
  • Just seen this post is old but thought I’d post incase others are looking for ideas. It was my daughters birthday recently and we did a scavenger hunt for her presents, lots of decorations, cake, my sister put together a video of family leaving well wishes/happy birthdays, takeaway, then fire and marshmallows. She loved it. We are currently isolating and she said she thought it was going to be the worse birthday ever but it was actually the “best day ever” ❤️
  • I got best ideas for celebration of birthday during the lock down time. I suggest my friend regarding the ideas.
  • Video calls are a hit for a short amount of time, then family board game night, or a fun pinata! That always goes down a treat!
  • This year we celebrated with family, friends called on the ZOOM. Gifts were sent by mail. The children were a little upset, but they understand that health is more important. My friends recorded a video for me, and it was amazing.

We have a birthday in the house on saturday! As the supermarkets are open i've got lots of frozen party food platters for the evening, and cocktail ingredients and we're going to have a cocktail making evening with the household. I also bought ingredients to make his fave pasta dish at lunch. Very food based but with the selection of shops open currently there's not much else i can do!

Considering the state of things, that sounds like a lovely way to celebrate!
