    It wasn't down to you to decide you are furloughed, this is something that your employer must agree to, and it doesn't sound like they did.

    What sort of work did you do?
    Is the place where you worked still open?

    No, we weren't told, we were advised to stay home and there's a big difference in the 2. Those that work, were advised to work from home where possible. It's not possible for everyone to work from home.

    It's also not your decision to make as to whether you'll be furloughed or not. If you receive monthly pay then it's very unlikely that you can even be furloughed because HMRC wouldn't have received the RTI by 19th March..
