That is my opinion of banks in general
Barclays are generally ok0 -

And despite them being an outrage and scamming us? And you thinking they behave scandalously, and declaring them to be crooks? You had a whole thread just a couple of weeks ago telling us how horrendous Barclays are. Now you say they are generally ok. What happened? How reliable is your assessment of banks?

Yes - That post was the banks in general and barclays got my wrath on this particular occasion. However, all banks are the same, and they all rip us off. It is indeed an outrage but we will not take a stand so we have no choice. As mentioned in the thread, banks are a necessity and the banks have forced us to have accounts.
That being said - as bad as they all are, my list stands.0 -
Who is "we" and how does any bank force "us" to have accounts?xlnc99 said:Yes - That post was the banks in general and barclays got my wrath on this particular occasion. How can Barclays be "generally ok" and at the same time "rip us off"?3 -
Please don't start him/her off again. We'll only end up with another umpteen pages of ranting drivel.colsten said:

If you tell us why you want a bank with a local branch, perhaps we can help. What exactly do you want to do in a branch?

I would like a branch in town so I can make withdrawals in person over the counter. I'm very bad at budgeting and overspend if I use my debit card. I would like to go to bank with my support staff and withdraw the money every Thursday I need for the week. I then can give my bank card back to staff member and the card be kept at the main office so I don't overspend.@nicetomeetyou

Are you able to complete an online Statement of Affairs (SOA)? If you can find the time, you will find it very helpful in your endeavours to gain control of your monthly budget categories. Lots of people have found it really useful in their attempts to control spending
