I eventually got through to HSBC and now i am awaiting a call back which will take 3-5 working days to go through the application.... for the feeder account and the bounce back loan... I will update again with the outcome. What questions do they ask as I’m doing it on behalf of my husband do you think I can do it without him being here (obviously I’ll make sure he will be here for the call back). Thanks
Yes that is the number I have been calling... today is the 5th working day I was promised a call back but as of yet nothing. I am currently trying to get through again!
To make the initial call you wont need your partner with you. You might already know all this as i have not been online. Apologies for that again.0 -

As a self employed worker (sole trader and ltd companies) for 25+ years and a great advocate of the self employed being the back bone of business why don't people have a business account, I have always had a business bank account, makes accounting so much easier and would certainly eliminate the problems with getting these bounce back loans.2

Last year i took your advice and opened a Starling account it was a personal account but to open a business account was soo easy just added the business account online. Being eligible for the Business boumce back scheme and still retaining my halifax accountas my mortgage is tied in. Its an unusual set up my mortgage moved from Halifax or RBS to loyds im not sure what happenedHalifax do not do business bank accounts i have a savings one and a current one and my mortgage is Loyds howerver all 3 on their app i have been using my current account for SME banking as im not a big business. I tried applying for business bounce back loan via halifax rediredted to RBS whos site is not working until next week and i am advised its a feeder account. In the interim i applied to Starling not thinking the did it. I uploaded my SA302 stuff docs and bingo apprved 3 days later money in. Please be advised read how much you can apply for i conservatively put down less but should have went maximum loan amount once its accepted cant be changed..Go Starling0

Im in the same boat with both a Halifax and RBS personal account, as Halifax wern't offering Bounce Back Loans i went the RBS route and follwed their instructions which meant completing a online form to open a Business account which the Bounce Bank Loan would be paid in to, after 3 days ive had a reply - 'Unfortunately, you aren’t eligible to apply for a RBS account, because your business trading location isn’t within Scotland.
We’ll cancel your current application as it doesn’t fit within our requirements. However, you’ll need to seek alternative banking arrangements. As your business trades within England or Wales, we suggest you look at the business accounts that we can provide through NatWest. Both RBS and NatWest are part of The Royal Bank of Scotland group'. !!!!!! !
