Evening All
Congratulations Piggers and Ionafan!
Well I have been to work all day and done pretty much nothing since I got in. However, before I left the house at 7.45 I, walked the dog, put dishes away, WULTD, wiped sides and WM x 1 so I have done something!
Off to bed now.
Hugs

Morning all,
I see some people are posting on last weeks thread by mistake, any chance we can be merged/amended?It's a lovely sunny day here. I'm having a cuppa and have unloaded the DW. I am sure I will find some bits to make up a wash load. The bin men have been and taken all the bits I had neatly stacked up next to it too, thank you 🙏🏻 😇
Right should do something, happy Tuesday all x10 -
Morning all,
So where did yesterday go, and how come I had to read through 4 pages to get this far! Fab.
Narc0 - I decluttered a lot of stationery etc to the local Brownies. It did help that I was a leader at the time, but you may have some takers there.
Iona - if I can help with wool, let me know. You never know what I have lurking that might fit the bill. I cleared a lot of odd stuff out to Brownies (yes, again!) or to school for a knitting project, but if I can help, then I gladly will.
YL - I know exactly where you are coming from. Real hugs help (they are a rarity here) but have some virtual ones in the meantime.
So having written yesterday off to work and just about the dailies, today is a new flying day. No work, and I have decided to give the allotment a miss. It needs one more shift to get the main parts finished, ready to plant, but today is not going to be the day. Today’s flying will have to be Quiet Flying - DH is working in the DR and DD has 2 online exams for school.Last night, I decided to cut up an old gingham table runner and make it into a summer top...sewing bee has a lot to answer for! This is why I a) never finish my knitting and b) live in a hovel. But today, I might sew it together...
WM on with towels, I have WULTD and s&s the kitchen. Now to tackle the ironing pile, and hope my new iron arrives today.
Back later, take care ladies. X12 -

Good morning!
I didn't get an early night, but I did get up earlierThe bed has been stripped and is in the WM, I am dressed and had breakfast. I am charging the f!tb!t, so I will do some tasks on the laptop then tidy catch up in the kitchen.
Round 1
Check bank accounts and emails
Load DW
Wash up other bits
S&S kitchen
Hang out washing
My aim today is to finish off the pots in the garden so that it is done, and will just need watering/maintenance. I also plan to go to the GC which is opening today for more compost, sweetcorn seeds & some bedding. I am then going to see my mum. I know it's naughty, but she hasn't seen any of us for 7 weeks and I usually see her a couple of times a week. We will observe social distancing, of course, but I miss her. I have been feeling this way for a week or so, but I had news on Sunday that a friend & neighbour is in a bad way in hospital with COVID, and it knocked me for sixI am terrified that I will get stopped by the police!!
I am also giving the allotment a miss today, because I ache!!
Have a good day everyone

MorningYesterday I spent the afternoon poking solicitors / estate agents etc with some very sarcastic emails.......................anyway result being the vendors solicitor says the paperwork by the vendors is filled in, but as they are self isolating, they will post it when the lockdown for the over70's ends................. (I think not) I sent email back asking couldn't their carers / volunteer food door step droppers post it? as some one must be going to the house to drop off supplies etc, I have also suggest I could go and get the paperwork and post on, and before any one at the solicitors points out it is a non essential journey, I have pointed out I can walk there in approx. 20 mins from the rental. I have also given my phone number to be passed on to the vendor so they can ring me to agree a day / time to collect..............................lets see what that brings. Also had an email from my solicitor it state 'looks like a long drawn out process' 'when covid19 is over you may wish to re consider the price you are offering' I am already one step ahead of my solicitor as I have already sent an email to the estate agents back at start of April, stating if things are not moving along by (x date) I will be reconsidering.I have found another 3 properties which are empty in the area, have my name down to go and visits as and when.Totally hacked off at the moment today....................and I've not even got out of bed yet!Love the blanket PiggersHugs to everyone xxBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Up, have coffee and am logged in for the usual work stuff related gumpf.
Himself had some rather abrupt messages after midnight from his boss about going in on Thursday. I have a feeling that they know what the government is planning to announce. He, however, remembered my constant banging on about boundaries and hasn't replied immediately. During working hours and only after coffee is appropriate, not 1am.
I am going to faff about for a bit and then I've got some plant watering to do.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll15
