car jump starter pack
Options
My car battery went flat, so I had to get a jump start so I thought I should get a car battery charger.
Then I thought, maybe a car jump starter pack like this.
https://www.audew.com/Audew-1000A-Peak-10800mAh-12V-Car-Jump-Starter-up-to-6_0L-Gas-or-4_5L-Diesel-Engine-p-100064.html?gmcCountry=GB¤cy=GBP&cur_warehouse=fba_eu&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc_gg_ssc&utm_campaign=will-20191118-uk-ssc-vehicle-CBN888-da&gclid=Cj0KCQjw17n1BRDEARIsAFDHFeyqqOgnWGTpIM_PyNWJtRd9Ee6ZPPuAPCsrq1x6OTrzvIysNexSIj0aAkj-EALw_wcB
which I could also use to charge my phone and tablet if there was a power cut.
What would you get?

1000amp peak with no continuous amp rating probably can only put out 100-200a which might be enough depending on engine size0

I have an Anker jump starter:
https://www.anker.com/ca/products/variant/compact-car-jump-starter-and-portable-charger/A1501071
which is stated as being 400A peak output and I've used it to start a Focus 1.6 petrol, a Volvo 1.8 diesel and a Corolla that hadn't moved or even been started for well over a year and whose battery was so low that the engine warning lights would only glow slightly.
I would also take the figures quoted for the unit that the OP links to with a very large pinch of salt especially as the link states 1000A peak yet the instructions themselves state 800A0 -
jump starters and chargers are completly different things , what do you NEED0

I have a energizer one and its been Great

If it's for occasional jump starts then a starter pack is what you need, but discharging and jump starting like this will soon kill a battery.
If the car is left for long periods then a trickle charger is probably better0 -
1000amps peak for 0.00001 of a second? Generic item that comes out of the factory with one of many brands?
So much hype they forget to give you the figures than enable you to compare the units. Is it a 3 cell 11.1v/12.6v
or a 4 cell 14.8v/16.8v battery?
Unlikely to be a 10,800mAh battery, what they do is add up the sum of the cells ie. 4 x 3.7v 2700mAh cells
And times the 3.7 AND the 2700 x 4 which is wrong. Its either a 10800mAh @ 3.7v or its a 14.8v @ 2700mAh.
You do not get 14.8v @10,800mAh.
Check quality 400Amp jumplead cable and clamp sizes and then compare the tiny cable for those clips supplied.
Plenty of these devices tested on Youtube and manyy swell up and fail on the first use. BigClive, MJHorton and
a few others.

I've got an eBay ChineseCheapy here - this particular one is "Biuble" branded. It's done the job for me a few times, and it works just fine.
I've had the old lead-acid starterboxes in the past, and they've been great... right up until the point they weren't. They were basically just a lead-acid motorcycle battery in a box with a dumb charger.
Yes, prevention is better than cure - and keeping a battery charged in the first place is better than letting it go flat then jumping it - but life doesn't always work like that in reality.0 -

Big continue amp rating would like good quality jumper cables use welding wire0 -

My jump leads are made of 0 AWG cable which has a conductor area of about 55 sq mm. Although they are about 4m long, the cable used is extremely flexible which enables them to be wound into a very small coil.
I made these about 30 years ago and they are still in excellent condition and they'll probably outlive me.0 -
