I signed a new sim only contract on 8th April for more data than i currently get with tesco mobile and the contract started on 23rd April.Does the 14 days cooling of period start from when you signed the contract or when the contract starts please.
I have tried phoning to clarify but gave up after an hour of waiting and there appears to be no web chat on the site and reading the contract im not sure which one it is.

Did you check the Tesco terms and conditions when you signed?
I think if you did then section 3 covers the cooling off period. Basically it says the cooling off periods starts when you received the sim so presumably Tesco would argue that you already had the sim on the 8th and were just changing to a new contract.
But if it was me and you could get through to them by the 6th May you could try and plead your case if you want to stay on the old contract.

If you’re worried about anything to do with your account or you need to talk to us, you can call us on 4455 from your Tesco Mobile phone or 0345 301 4455 from another phone.
