Online seller ignored my cancellation emails and calls

Curious as to what is so special about the plates that they needed to be ordered online and cost £48.
Last set we had made cost £20 and were done within a day from our garage1 -
So firstly, it's a very bad idea to use a ltd company account to make private purchases for several reasons. The two most important being that the retailer could use it to show you held yourself out as a business, not a consumer (and therefore do not get the corresponding consumer rights) and that if you blur the lines between personal finances & limited company finances, there is a much higher chance of a court blurring the same line (and therefore liability would not be limited to company assets and personal assets could be at stake).
With that said, what did the website T&C's state about contract formation/order acceptance? I'm hoping they've done something silly like make order acceptance upon dispatch - because if they have, you can withdraw your offer (whether consumer or business) at any point before it is accepted because a contract doesn't exist until they accept the offer. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride1 -

I think what she means is that the cancellation notification was made long before the goods were shipped, therefore the offer was withdrawn before a contract was concluded. Thus the company had no contractual basis on which to send the goods. As such the OP is now an involuntary baillee for the goods, and it is for the seller to arrange (and pay for) collection of the goods.3

I'm not sure how a tinted plate helps or hinders your contact with the seller?
Do they have a physical address you can write to?1
