Three Mobile (3 Mobiles) contrat ended paid for handset still asking for full contracted price
Hi everyone,
My 3 mobile contract ended in mid March. I was off-sick from work. I visited my local 3 store to ask for change to PAYG, they directed me to another store, who in turn asked me to call customer service. In the meantime, come the Crona lock-down. Since then, i have tried numberless time to to speak to customer service, they are not available. Had chatted twice, but was told that they cannot do anything, as they have no access to database. 3 chat on their complaints page have a queue of more than hundred. Now 3 is demanding payment or else they stop the service.
any suggestion how to deal with this situation will be highly appreciated.
thanks

Your contract hasn’t ended, just reached the minimum term. Do not cancel your direct debit, or if you have, make the payment. Otherwise they will trash your credit rating.
All phone companies are the same, it’s a common theme on this forum.
You can cease a contract by requesting and using a PAC.0 -
As above rolled on to a 30 day contract . Give 30 days notice .

Write them a letter explaining the situation and ask they backdate to the original request.0

If you Text for a pac code you don't have to talk to anyone and as soon as your number goes over to a new provider your contract will finish automatically.
You should get a final bill from the text you send after about 20mins with the pac code.
Have a look at the link it explains everything.
