Stanmer Park PCN - received NTK but no OPS appeal decision yet

Hi Guys,
Want to start by saying a big thank you to everybody on this forum for all the fabulous information and assistance so freely given.
Won't be giving much detail at the moment until I get a feel for what can and can't be disclosed but as the title says this is another PCN from OPS at Stanmer Park.
First appeal was sent at the right time as the keeper of the vehicle via e-mail using the information in the newbies thread and received a reply next day which stated: response to the appeal should be within 14 days but not always possible so could take up to 35 days, if no response by then please contact us!!
Been around 6 weeks now since the PCN was issued and just received the NTK in the post but no decision on the appeal as yet. The NTK states that no appeal was submitted within the specified time, I guess this is just a standard ploy to get payment which they will not. Would be very grateful if someone could confirm that the NTK should be ignored for now until the appeal decision is made/received.

If OPS have any sense they will keep a low profile read this, let us know if they step out of line at all.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully, when life gets back to normal, it will become impossible for those scammers who are left to continue their vile trade, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

Appeal the NTK as keeper using the blue text template , regardless

And stage 1 , plan A , is a landowner complaint , which you never mentioned

mydogsnaughty you have already appealed as keeper (great!) and Stanmer Park is Council owned.

As you have probably noticed (and as shown in the link from DP Dance) I am local and I appear (free of charge, I volunteer) in court for people v OPS and other parking firms and this is a slam-dunk win for you but there is more than one way to skin a cat.

Can you send me a pm showing me the NTK front and back?  I have another person at the same stage and there is more than one way to deal with this and I'd like to take it off forum and talk to you by email if that's OK.

I have over 80,000 posts here and the other regulars will vouch for me, and I am the lay rep who appeared in the linked case where OPS have been warned by a Judge.  Happy to assist you to pile on the pressure...

Excellent, we can look forward to another OPS thrashing, assuming they still exist after the recent one!

Different tactics will be used, for Stanmer Park.  There is a long term plan.
