Hi,
I am thinking about opening an account for my son and unsure on what type of account to open:
Either
Junior ISA or Childrens Saving Account and if so which one is the best?
When is the best time to open an account? should I wait after the pandemic is over?
thanks

Is your son old enough to already have a Child Trust Fund that would need transferring into any new Junior ISA? Are you comfortable that the contributions to a Junior ISA would be locked up until age 18 when he would then have access to spend as he chooses? Or would you prefer the flexibility of a child savings account which usually allows you to make withdrawals along the way.2
